Pro features: what «Pro · free for now» means

Apoing is free, with advertising, on the web and in the app. Some advanced features, mainly for administrators, carry the label Pro · free for now: they belong to Apoing Pro and today any community can use them without paying anything. This article explains what the label means, which features have it and what would happen if they ever became paid.

What «Pro · free for now» means

• Today it costs nothing: every community can use the Pro features, with no set time limit and without giving any card.
• Only administrators see the label, on the cards of the management panel (web) and under Manage (app). People who only book see no difference.
• Some cards say Partly Pro: inside there is a free part and a Pro part (for example, Statistics or Automatic rules). In those cases the label appears next to the Pro part.

Today's Pro features

For any community

• Community report: the Report tab of Statistics, with the comparison with the previous period, the PDF for the board, the spreadsheet, polls inside the report and the monthly summary by email. Also the heat map per calendar. The Usage tab (occupancy, heat map of all calendars together and usage per person) is free.
• Community documents: minutes, rules, contracts and circulars for members.
• Community meetings: calling meetings and adding the minutes.
• Community subscribed calendars: links to see the community's calendars in Google, Apple or Outlook. The personal calendar with your own bookings is not Pro.
• Scheduled activities: courses and training sessions that book their own slots.
• Calendars for some groups only: only members of certain groups see and book a calendar. Creating groups and organising people in them is free. See User groups.
• Pro automatic rules: Late cancellation, No-show and Peak hours. Fair turn and Reminder are always free.

For businesses

• Business report («Your business» in Statistics): estimated income, new and returning customers, and breakdown by professional and by service.
• Loyalty card and come-back reminder.
• The last review reminder, after 24 hours. The first review request is for everyone.
• Professional diaries from the second one: one Professional calendar is included without Pro; the following ones carry the label.

What is not Pro

Everything else has no label: booking on the web and in the app, calendars and their booking rules, the waiting list, bookings with approval, posts, polls, incidents, matches and ranking, roles, groups, credits, homes, the public page and QR poster, and the Usage tab of Statistics.

If they ever become paid

There is no paid plan today. A future paid plan could include these features, new features and options such as removing ads; whatever is available without the Pro mark will stay free. This is what our Terms and conditions say (section «Price, advertising and Pro features»):

• We will let you know at least 30 days in advance, through the platform itself.
• You will see the price before taking out anything.
• Nobody will be charged without expressly subscribing. Nothing is charged automatically.
• A community that does not subscribe keeps the free version and does not lose access to the data it has already stored (for example, its documents or minutes).

For example, if a community without Pro has Pro rules, they would be paused («Paused · needs Pro») without being deleted: they can be viewed, edited or deleted, but not activated. And the community's subscribed calendars would keep their link, which would work again on subscribing.

Each community in Apoing must correspond to a single real entity (one residents' community, one club, one business…); grouping several into one to get around limits or prices is not allowed.
