Push notifications

Once the app is installed on your device, you can enable push notifications to receive Apoing alerts directly on your phone or computer, even when your browser is not open.

📱 iPhone and iPad: push notifications are only available on iOS 16.4 or later and only when you open Apoing from the home screen icon (not directly from Safari).

How to enable notifications

  1. Sign in to Apoing.
  2. Go to your profile (user icon in the top menu).
  3. Find the "Push notifications" section.
  4. Tap the "Enable push notifications on this device" button.
  5. When your browser asks for permission, tap Allow.

Once enabled, you will see a green "Active on this device" badge along with a button to disable them whenever you like.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enable them on multiple devices?

What if the button doesn't appear or says "Blocked in browser"?
Your browser has blocked the permission. To unblock it, click the padlock icon 🔒 in the address bar → Notifications → select Allow, then reload the page.
