Restricting bookings on weekends and public holidays in Apoing

Apoing includes a special option to manage booking restrictions on weekends and public holidays: the Special Holiday Booking Window.

How does it work?

When this option is enabled in the activity type's booking conditions, the following availability rules apply:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday: Bookings can be made for the same day and/or the next day.
• Friday: Bookings can be made for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Day before a holiday: Bookings can be made for that day and any consecutive holidays.
• Holiday: Bookings can be made for that holiday and any following consecutive holidays.

Note: This option disables the "Hours before booking (Book)" field.

Setting up public holidays

For the system to correctly apply holiday rules, each community must enter its public holidays under the "Holiday List" option, available in the community Options button.
